5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else (Isaiah 45:5-6).
The importance of the acknowledgment that there is a God cannot be overstated. Of course the mere acknowledgment is just a beginning. We are to love the Lord our God with all our heart. But there are many that even deny that God exists. The denial however has no bearing on the reality of God. God is the eternal, unchanging maker of heaven and earth. God is great and there is no god, except the God of bible.
