Evidence for the sovereignty of God is all around us. The creation, because of the obvious signs of design, is a prime example of evidence for God’s sovereignty. Something that has design always has the marks of the designer. The designer influences that which is created. In the case of God as designer, it is more than just God being the ’prime-mover’, as the scripture states, it is His handiwork. There is special design that is present in the creation: a pattern that is observable, unique and glorious. When you consider the vast universe, or the beauty of night sky, or the grandeur of a sunset and sunrise, the glory of God should become obvious and undeniable. Praise God for His sovereignty as evidenced by the design of His creation.
