19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee (Mark 5:19).
This is the heart of evangelism, to tell others what God has done and can do in our lives. Our lives are forever changed for the better once we surrender to God through Christ Jesus. Of course this does not mean everything will be rosy in this life, we know that this is not so. But, what it is does mean is that our perspective on life changes from the temporal (this world) to the eternal. It is in this eternal perspective that true peace is available to all that call upon the name of the Lord.
