13 Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power (Psalm 21:13).
The power and strength of God is unlimited. God is the only being that is truly self-reliant and self-sufficient. There is nothing that God needs. God is complete and all-powerful. God is exalted because of who He is; His very essence demands a response. Our response to God should be one of worship and praise. We worship and praise God then as an act of obedience. This obedience should extend into all areas of life. There is no such thing as a part-time or partial worshipper; it requires all of our commitment. Therefore in obedience to God, we praise Him with all of our heart and mind.
