There are multiple passages of scripture that indicate that God knew us before we were born. The sovereignty of God extends from the beginning to the end. God, according to His will and through His gracious actions, is our God even before we know Him. In short, God knows us before we know Him. From the moment of our creation, God in His infinite love and grace is restoring the relationship of the created to the Creator. Our creation is personal, unique, and of God. There are no accidents with God. This is so important because Man as the image bearer of God is of infinite worth. There is tremendous comfort in knowing that God, even before we were aware, is our God.
