8 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved (Psalm 16:8).
God is our strength. It is only through God’s power that we can withstand the challenges that come in this life. We can rely on God when we put Him before us. In other words, when we keep our focus on God, He is our strength. It is then really a matter of priorities, when the priorities of God become our own, we are acting in accordance with His will. There is no surer way to be immovable and steadfast than to have the Lord God walk at our side. When we study His word and pray in His name, He will always be at our side.
