7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Christ’s return will be obvious and visible to all. There will be no doubt or ambiguity. If there is doubt or ambiguity then it is simply not Christ that has returned. The purpose of the second coming is the final restoration of paradise lost.
The apostle John was exiled on the Island of Patmos due to his testimony concerning Christ so we should not be surprised if the message of the Gospel is met with skepticism and doubt. But we are to be faithful witnesses regardless.
